How can the stars be so bright and constant

when the earth is covered by smoke and uncertainty?

One side of the world wakes to sirens and soldiers

while the other sleeps under a cold, silent sky.

But the bombs fall, as they always have.

As they always will.

We are all connected, sharing the same sphere.

There is no escaping it, no matter the distance from the stars.
